Hey everyone!

As some of you know I’m leaving the Land Down Under in 2 days time chasing summer on the other side of the world for over a month.
First stop is Turkey for over 3 weeks. Here I will be seeing an array of different landscapes a great collection of history and even eating the occasional Kebab.
I have quite an itinerary planned and I really can’t wait. I am going from Australia with a population of 21 Million and landing in Istanbul (the capital of Turkey) where alone the cities population is estimated to be around 19 Million. From memory the total population is 71 million. A mere 50 Million more than that of Australia. Lol
After Turkey I’ll be heading off to Greece to laze about for just under 2 weeks. Most of my time here will be spent exploring the islands where I’ll be staying and other nearby islands. The Greece leg of my trip has been planned with only one thing in mind and that’s relaxing in first class. Ok ok…. a few other things in mind. How could I forget photography and all the food and culture?

In typical style I have again extended my collection of camera gear. Claiming my tax back as I leave the Country makes everything so much sweeter.
I recently had the opportunity to play with the new Pentax K-7. Unfortunately it will not be available in Australia for a little while so that’s going to have to wait till I return.

It’s been hard trying to work out what to take. I can’t take all my gear so I narrowed it down to the following:

PENTAX K20D
PENTAX- DA 35mm F2.8
PENTAX- DA 50-135mm F2.8 ED
SIGMA 10-20mm F4-5.6
Metz Mecablitz 58 AF-1 Flashlight

On top of this collection I have all the other usual items and accessories including enough memory to sink the Titanic.
